After settling into your eco-lodge, you’ll embark on a 3-to-4-hour guided trek through the Ceibo Trail, exploring the secrets of ancient medicinal plants and spotting wildlife hidden beneath the canopy. The day concludes with a mystical night canoe ride to observe the jungle’s nocturnal transition, followed by a warm dinner at the lodge.

This day is dedicated to thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts alike, starting with an early morning exploration of hidden jungle lagoons and a trek to track the elusive peccaries in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you’ll take on the Amazonian Challenge—fishing for legendary piranhas in the dark waters of the reserve. As night falls, the adventure intensifies with a dedicated Caiman Safari, where you’ll navigate the riverbanks to spot the glowing eyes of these ancient reptiles under the starlight.

Your final morning in the Amazon is all about savoring the incredible biodiversity one last time during a dawn exploration of a final forest trail. This is the prime time for birdwatching and identifying unique exotic vegetation that thrives in the morning mist. After a farewell lunch at the lodge, you’ll begin your return journey to the bridge to catch your transportation back to Quito, carrying with you the unforgettable spirit of the Cuyabeno wildlife.
